'Locally dense' fog on Long Island

The National Weather Service is advising Long Islanders that fog this morning will be "locally dense," especially closer to the South Shore.

In a special weather statement, the agency urged drivers to be alert "for visibilities locally one quarter mile or less when traveling this morning."
