Nassau County police are trying to find out who burglarized a woman's home in Locust Valley Monday and then drove off with her car.

Second Squad detectives said someone entered a 56-year-old woman's North Street house through an unlocked sliding door between 1:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Police said jewelry, computer software and an unspecified amount of cash were taken.

Also, the woman's car keys were missing, and police think her 1995 green Subaru was used by one or more burglars to escape.

Police are looking for the car, New York license plate CXL-2622, and more information related to the burglary.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
