Male victim shot and wounded in Long Beach, police say

A man is recovering at an area hospital after he was shot in the leg in Long Beach Monday night, police said.
The shooting occurred about 11 p.m. on East Fulton Street, police said Tuesday.
“It doesn’t appear to be a random act of violence,” Sgt. Brett Curtis said by telephone.
No additional information was released as the investigation has yet to conclude.
