Lynbrook High School ninth-grader writes children’s book

Lynbrook High School ninth-grader Christina Franco, who is hearing-impaired, wrote a children’s book, “Ben’s Boat Trip.” On Wednesday, she used sign language to interpret her story as teacher Elaine Miller read it aloud to students at the Lynbrook Kindergarten Center.  Credit: Jessica Rotkiewicz
