Macy's in Roosevelt Field evacuated after bomb threat, police say
The Macy's store at Roosevelt Field mall was evacuated Thursday night after a bomb threat was called in, authorities said.
The call was made shortly after 7 p.m., Nassau police said.
Officers searched the store, but did not find anything, a mall spokesman said.
The rest of the mall was not evacuated, he said, and shoppers were allowed to return just before 8:40 p.m.
A police spokesman said he did not immediately have other details.
