Nassau County police said they are investigating a robbery on Saturday morning in Hempstead.

Police said a 19-year-old man and woman were walking in front of 6 Butler Place when two females began talking to them.

The victims tried to walk away, police said, as two males approached, displaying a black handgun and demanding property. The woman was knocked to the ground and her iPhone, watch, bracelet, and necklace were taken, police said. The man was punched in the face and his iPhone and watch were taken, police said.

The suspects fled in a late model silver Honda, police said. The victims refused medical attention, police said.
