An Oceanside man was arrested on a burglary charge of breaking into a home in June and taking jewelry and electronic equipment, Nassau County police said Thursday.

Fourth Squad detectives arrested Robert Decker, 52, of 3430 Lindbergh Ave., on Wednesday after a "detailed investigation," police said in a news release.

Decker "forcibly entered" an Oceanside home on Fifth Street during the evening on June 8, police said.

He is charged with second-degree burglary and is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead.
