Man arrested in Valley Stream burglaries

He burglarized two homes in Valley Stream, police said, stealing assorted jewelry.
Now, Ryan O'Donnell, 25, of 26 South Franklin Ave., Valley Stream, is under arrest, facing arraignment Thursday morning in First District Court in Hempstead on two counts of second-degree burglary.
O'Donnell was arrested at his home Wednesday night after an investigation by Nassau County police.
Police said O'Donnell broke into a home on East Avenue on Sept. 13, entering through a basement window and stealing "several pieces" of women's jewelry. O'Donnell also broke into a home on West Mineola Avenue on Oct. 2, stealing jewelry there, too, police said.
Police did not say what evidence linked O'Donnell to the crimes.
