A Bayside man was arrested Thursday for a burglary at the gym club where he once worked in Great Neck, police said.

Joshua Mora, 21, of 207th Street, was fired by the New York Sports Club after video surveillance caught him removing property from an office at the facility on Barstow Road on April 8, Nassau County police said.

But Mora did not surrender his keys when he was fired, and a week later, on April 15, police said he used those keys to enter the building and burglarize it.

Police said the surveillance footage showed Mora "going behind the counter and removing an unknown amount of currency from the register" at 10:14 p.m.

Mora was not originally charged in the first incident, but he was when he was arrested Thursday. He was charged with third-degree burglary, petty larceny and possession of burglar tools.

He was scheduled for arraignment Friday in First District Court in Hempstead.
