A Copiague man faces burglary charges after allegedly climbing through an unlocked window to steal jewelry and cash from a Plainview home, Nassau County police said Tuesday.

Dyron Elliot, of 465 45th St., entered a Barnum Avenue home early July 25 by climbing through a side window, police said.

Elliot took jewelry and a jar of coins from a bedroom, police said.

He was arrested Monday shortly after noon on Barnum Avenue in Plainview, police said.

Elliot is charged with burglary and is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
