Man charged with firing two shots in Inwood
An Inwood man was arrested on charges of criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment Monday night after he fired two gunshots during an argument on an Inwood street late Friday, police said.
Daiquan Humphrey, 23, of Mott Avenue, was arrested at his home Monday and charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first- and second-degree reckless endangerment, Nassau County police said.
Police said Humphrey was armed with a silver handgun and fired two shots at victims during an argument on Bayview Avenue in Inwood at about 10:45 p.m. Friday. No one was injured.
Police did not say how many people Humphrey shot at and did not give details about the circumstances of the argument.
Humphrey was scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
