Man faces sex charges in Costco case

A 40-year-old man is under arrest on sex charges after he made sexual movements at a 9-year-old girl as she looked at toys at a Costco store on Old Country Road in Westbury on Wednesday, police said.
Police said the girl's mother saw what happened.
Robert M. Mosquera of Salisbury Park Drive in Westbury was charged with first-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child after being arrested at 5:35 p.m., Nassau County police said.
He is scheduled for arraignment Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead.
Police said the girl was at the Costco with her mother and was at a toy display when Mosquera approached her from behind and "began making sexual movements, thrusting his pelvis and making contact with" the child.
It was not immediately clear if the alleged incident was captured on surveillance video.
