Man found in Roosevelt street fatally shot, cops say
Nassau County police are investigating after a man was found dead with a gunshot wound in Roosevelt.
Police received a call about a man lying in the road on John Street at about 3:56 a.m. Saturday, authorities said.
The 46-year-old man had a gunshot wound and a Nassau advanced medical technician pronounced him dead at the scene, according to police.
Detectives are looking for information and ask anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
