Police: Man hit, pinned by garbage truck in Mineola
An unidentified man was taken to a hospital after being pinned between a garbage truck and a fence Thursday morning in Mineola, Nassau County police said.
The victim was taken to Winthrop-University Hospital, but police said his condition was not immediately known.
It was unclear if the man was a sanitation worker or a bystander.
Police said the investigation is continuing.
