A 21-year-old worker in Plainview was electrocuted Friday when an aluminum extension ladder he was carrying came in contact with overhead high power wires, police said.

Detectives said the man was replacing gutters on a house on Morton Drive about 2:15 p.m.

The man, whose name was not released pending notification of his family, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
