A man suffered a deep cut to his hand Tuesday in an accident at a Valley Stream movie theater involving a plate-glass window, Nassau County police said.

The accident happened at Sunrise Cinemas in Green Acres Mall on Hook Creek Boulevard just before 10 a.m., police told Newsday.

Police did not release the identity of the injured man.

They said he was being airlifted to Nassau University Medical Center. His condition was not immediately known.
