Man killed in Bethpage car accident
A 68-year-old Bethpage man was pronounced dead at the scene right after his car crashed into a tree and utility pole in Bethpage, police said.
Ronald Olsen was traveling west on Boundary Avenue, west of Stewart Avenue at 4:47 a.m. when the accident occurred, Nassau police said.
Olsen, who may have suffered a medical problem just before the accident, was pronounced dead at 4:52 a.m. by a police department Advanced Medical Technician, police said.
The Nassau County medical examiner's office will conduct an investigation to determine the cause of death, police said.
