A man was robbed at knifepoint Saturday night by three men as he walked on a street in New Cassel, Nassau County police said.

The 24-year-old victim was walking on Brook Street about 8 p.m. when three men came up to him. One of the men grabbed the victim by the neck, displayed a knife and demanded money, police said.

The suspect then took money from the victim's pocket, and all three men ran away, police said.

The victim sustained a cut to his right index finger, but he refused treatment.

The suspects were described as about 6 feet tall and wore dark clothing.
