Man robbed on Roosevelt street Saturday

Nassau County police are investigating a robbery that occurred Saturday morning in Roosevelt.

A 69-year-old man was walking on Whitehouse Avenue when two other men pushed him to the ground and took the wallet from his pants pocket about 6 a.m.

The subjects fled the scene in an unknown direction, taking the man's personal papers and an unknown amount of cash, police said.

There were no reported injuries.
