A man robbed a Capital One Bank on Merrick Avenue in East Meadow on Friday evening, Nassau County police said.

Robbery Squad detectives said the man demanded cash from a teller without displaying a weapon. The teller gave the man an undetermined amount of cash, and he fled into the parking lot.

Witnesses said the man was in his 40s, just over 6 feet tall with a medium build. He wore blue jeans and a blue denim jacket over a black Rocawear hoodie and sunglasses, police said.
