Man robs East Meadow bank
Police are searching for an unidentified man who robbed a Bank of America location in East Meadow Saturday morning.
The man entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money, Nassau police said. He received an undisclosed amount and fled by foot, police said. Six employees and four customers inside at the time were not injured.
Police described the man as in his mid-40s, about 6 feet tall and weighing 195 pounds. He was unshaven at the time of the robbery, police said.
