Man seriously injured in Southern State crash

A man was seriously injured early Sunday in a one-car crash on the Southern State Parkway in Levittown, New York State Police said.
The man, who was not identified, was driving east on the parkway just west of Route 135 at 6:26 a.m. when his car hit a light pole, police said.
He was taken to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow for treatment of serious injuries, police said.
