Nassau County police are investigating the shooting of a man Friday in Roosevelt.
Police received a report of a shooting at 1:30 p.m. Responding officers found a man with a gunshot wound at the scene near Lakewood Avenue, police said.
The man was taken to a local hospital. His condition was not immediately known.
