Nassau County's robbery squad is looking for a man who walked into an East Meadow bank Thursday afternoon, demanded that tellers give him cash, and made off with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

At about 4:30 p.m., the man, about 6 foot, 3 inches tall, in a tan knit hat wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, entered the Roslyn Savings Bank at 1897 Front St. and told tellers he wanted cash. The man, who also had white gauze bandage on his left cheek, ran away with the money, police said.

The robber displayed no weapons and no one was injured, police said.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All callers will remain anonymous.
