An armed man robbed a Cedarhurst gas station on Saturday morning, swiping DVDs, cans of Red Bull and condoms, but leaving all the cash in the register, Nassau police said.

The robbery occurred at the Mobil gas station at 466 Rockaway Tpke. shortly after 5 a.m., when the suspect, armed with a handgun, approached the 50-year-old male store employee.

The suspect put the stolen items in a duffel bag he was carrying and fled on a bicycle. The store employee was not hurt.

The suspect is described as about 35 years old, 5-feet 6-inches tall, 150 pounds, with long black dreadlocks and wearing a blue T-shirt and black pants.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call Nassau County CrimeStoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
