Man sought in Inwood beer distributor robbery
A man carrying a silver revolver walked into a beer distributor in Inwood Wednesday evening, jumped over the counter, took cash from the register and fled, police said.
No one was injured.
Nassau County police are searching for the gunman, described as a man in his 20s, between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot, wearing a blue hoodie, dark jeans and black sneakers with white soles and light blue or light green shoe laces.
The robbery occurred at Sobol Beer Distributors on Sheridan Boulevard at about 7:10 p.m., police said.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
