Man stabbed in early morning attack in Baldwin, police say
First squad detectives are looking for a suspect in the stabbing of a 19-year-old man early Monday in Baldwin.
Nassau County police said the victim was walking north on Grand Avenue near a Burger King restaurant at 12:20 a.m. when another man approached him, pushed and punched him.
The attacker then stabbed his victim in the left shoulder before fleeing north on Grand Avenue, police said.
The victim was taken in a private vehicle to a hospital, where police were called.
No description of the attacker was immediately available, police said.
