A New Year's Day fight in Uniondale ended when a man was stabbed as he walked to his car, Nassau police said.

The fight between the victim, 50, and three other men happened about 1:30 a.m. on Arthur Street, police said.

One of the attackers stabbed the victim with an unknown object that caused cuts to his leg, torso and chest, police said.

The three men ran off, and the victim drove to a hospital and contacted police, authorities said.

Each suspect wore black clothing, appeared to be 20-25 years old and weighted about 160 pounds, police said.
