A woman was robbed of her iPhone Sunday in Roosevelt after she left a Nassau Road delicatessen, Nassau County police said.

The victim, 20, was at a deli at 425 Nassau Rd. at about 6:15 p.m. when she was approached by a man, also about 20, and the two engaged in a short conversation, police said.

As the victim walked from the deli on West Roosevelt Avenue, the man grabbed her iPhone, police said. There was a brief struggle before the thief fled west on West Roosevelt with the phone, according to police.

The victim did not report being injured.
