A man walked onto the Meadowbrook Parkway and was struck by a vehicle Sunday afternoon, New York State Police said.
The man, whom police did not identify, was struck in the southbound lanes between exits for the Southern State Parkway and Hempstead Turnpike at about 2 p.m., police said.
His injuries did not appear to be critical, and the scene was cleared about a half-hour later, police said.
