Man takes plea in Island Park break-in
A Brooklyn man pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge stemming from a break-in at an Island Park man's home in 2009, according to court documents.
Jacob Bondorowsky, 28, entered the plea in First District Court in January 2011 and received a conditional discharge, which stipulates that if he remains out of trouble for a year, the case would be sealed, according to court documents.
Police said Bondorowsky was arrested in October 2009 in Rockville Centre and was charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree assault and fourth-degree possession of a dangerous weapon.
Police said Bondorowsky posed as a deliveryman and forced his way into the Nassau Lane home. Once inside, he struck the victim with a hammer, police said.
