Massapequa woman stopped for speeding charged with DWI

A Massapequa woman stopped for speeding on the Southern State Parkway was arrested on drunken driving charges after a state trooper smelled alcohol on her breath and discovered her license had been revoked, police said.
A check with the Department of Motor Vehicles showed that Chioma Azuogu of 33 Beach St., who was stopped near Exit 19 in Rockville Centre on Saturday at 5:35 a.m., had two DWI convictions in 2008, State Police said.
Her license had been revoked, police said, and her car did not have a required ignition interlock.
Police said Azuogu had a .16 blood-alcohol content.
She was charged with felony DWI, first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a vehicle without an interlock device and vehicle and traffic violations. Arraignment details were not immediately known.
