Nassau County police arrested two men Friday morning and charged them with attempted arson after a victim reportedly saw them pouring gasoline on a car in front of a house in Uniondale.

Police later discovered that gasoline had also been poured on the exterior of the Warwick Street house, police said.

Arrested were Jeffrey Rada, of 1 Brewster Place in Hicksville, and Dominick Marinelli, of 1213 Warwick St. in Uniondale, both 18.

Police said Rada and Marinelli had an ongoing dispute with the victim's son and that they fled the scene when discovered.

The two were found a short while later at different locations in East Meadow.

They were charged with first-degree attempted arson and third-degree attempted arson and were scheduled to be arraigned Saturday in First District Court in Hempstead.
