Men rob Garden City Park gas station
A trio of men, one armed, stormed a Garden City Park gas station and stole 10 cartons of cigarettes and cash early Wednesday, police said.
Nassau County police are searching for the robbers, who also stole a wallet from one of the two employees of the BP station on Jericho Turnpike.
Wearing masks and gloves, the three men burst into the station at 1:13 a.m. One went behind the register and pointed a black handgun at an employee. The robbers took cash and cigarettes, then forced one of the employees to the floor and took the wallet.
One of the employees is 63, the other 33. Neither was identified.
No one was injured.
Police said the men jumped over a fence and fled.
