Menorah vandalized outside home in Plainview, police say
Nassau detectives are investigating an apparent bias incident in Plainview, where a large illuminated menorah was knocked down and vandalized between 10:15 p.m. Friday and 8:45 a.m. Saturday.
The structure had been set on a lawn in front of a home on Gerhard Road when the alleged vandalism occurred, police said. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
