Merrick Road in Baldwin reopens
The westbound lanes of Merrick Road at Harrison Avenue in Baldwin reopened after two hours Sunday following an auto accident, Nassau police said.
A police spokeswoman said the accident occurred at 2:43 p.m., but she was not able to say how many vehicles were involved, what had happened or if there were any injuries. The road reopened about 5:15.
