Merrick Road in Valley Stream reopens after crash

Merrick Road between Arlington Avenue and Boden Avenue in Valley Stream was reopened to traffic Friday evening after an auto accident with injury closed the street for more than two hours, police said.

The accident was reported at 3:52 p.m., a police spokesman said, and westbound lanes had reopened by 4:15 p.m. The road was reopened in both directions by 6:19 p.m.
