A 25-year-old Baldwin man who was the subject of a Silver Alert after having last been seen Monday was found Thursday morning at a Howard Johnson's in Jamaica, Queens.

Nassau County Police said Wayne Hunter was in good condition but was transported to Franklin Hospital Medical Center in Valley Stream for evaluation.

The Silver Alert program was established to help locate senior citizens and individuals who are suffering from cognitive diseases and disorders.

Hunter had last been seen Monday at 7 a.m. on Grand Terrace Avenue in Baldwin and left the area in a black 2003 Kia with Florida license plates.

Police said he was located by NYPD officers Thursday at 5:30 a.m. at the Howard Johnson's. Police could not immediately say what led them to Hunter - or what he was doing at the Queens motel.
