Two Nassau teens who disappeared this week have been found unharmed in central New Jersey, police said Thursday.

Nassau County police said Robert Adesso, 15, of Massapequa Park, and his girlfriend, Galina Ferro, 16, of East Williston, were located Thursday morning in Readington, N.J., about 50 miles southwest of Manhattan.

The two were the subject of a Silver Alert issued by police on Tuesday. Adesso had last been seen Monday morning at Kellenberg High School in Uniondale. Police said Ferro had last been seen Monday as well.

Police did not say what led them to the pair of teens or how they ended up in Jersey.
