Missing New Cassel man has been found, police say

A missing New Cassel resident who is unable to hear or speak has been found, Nassau County police said on Monday.

Mohammed Saleem, 31, of Elderberry Lane, was last seen at 7 p.m. Saturday at his home before leaving the house and walking in an unknown direction, police said.

Police said in a news release Monday that Saleem had been found. No details were provided.
