Missing teen returns to Syosset facility, police say
A teenager who had been missing since the morning of Aug. 1 has been located, Nassau police said Tuesday.
According to detectives, Wanya Canty, 15, was last seen leaving the Mercy First Facility in Syosset at 7:20 a.m. on Aug. 1.
She has returned to the facility, police said Tuesday night.
