Oh, no. More snow?
It's in the forecast, but not until Monday night, according to the National Weather Service in Upton.
"It's another one of those coastal lows, and we're not sure how close it will get to us," meteorologist Matt Scalora said. "The track is uncertain at this point."
Scalora said it's also way too early to tell how much snow Long Island might get, if any.
The weather service's seven-day forecast said chances of snow the night of Presidents Day are 30 percent, well below the 80 percent or higher predicted for the severe winter storm that hit Wednesday.
For the rest of this week, including the weekend, Long Island will have sunny skies with temperatures ranging from the low 20s to the mid-30s.
Northwest winds from Thursday, which gusted to 32 mph, will ease a bit, ranging between 13 mph to 16 mph Friday and 7 mph to 11 mph Friday night. On Saturday, they'll shift to the west and pick up again, gusting to highs of 24 mph.
Sunday, it's sunny and mild with a high of 34.
