Due to the forecast for inclement weather, Nassau County is postponing pesticide spraying for mosquito control planned for Thursday night.

Ground spraying in sections of East Massapequa, North Massapequa, Massapequa, Massapequa Park, Lakeview, Lynbrook, North Lynbrook, Rockville Centre, Malverne, Malverne Oaks, South Hempstead and West Hempstead is rescheduled for Tuesday from 7 p.m. to no later than 2 a.m., according to a news release from the Nassau County Department of Health.
