Motorcyclist, 21, killed in Seaford-Oyster Bay crash
A 21-year-old Wantagh man was killed Monday night when he lost control of his motorcycle on the southbound Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway in Wantagh, struck the center divider and was ejected from his bike, police said.
Nassau County police have not released the identity of the motorcyclist, pending notification of next of kin.
Police said the 7:48 p.m. accident involving a 2012 Suzuki sent debris into the northbound lanes of the parkway.
The crash, which occurred between Exit 4, the Southern State Parkway, and Exit 3, Jerusalem Avenue, closed the roadway in both directions for about four hours.
Police said the accident remains under investigation and additional details were not immediately available Tuesday.
