A Hollis, Queens, man died after crashing his motorcycle into a car in Hempstead Saturday, Nassau County police said.

Osrick Powell, 31, was driving a 2016 Suzuki "at an excessive speed" on North Franklin Street when he collided with a 2015 Dodge car turning left onto Smith Street, according to a news release from the department.

Powell was "crushed" between his motorcycle and the car, suffering serious internal injuries, police said.

Medics took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:49 p.m. Saturday. The driver of the car, 29, was unharmed, police said.

Police said the investigation is continuing. Officers impounded the car and motorcycle for brake and other safety tests, police said.
