Motorcyclist killed in Valley Stream crash, police say

A 35-year-old male motorcyclist was killed Sunday after he crashed into another vehicle in Valley Stream, according to Nassau County police.
At 2:16 p.m., the man was traveling south on Rockaway Parkway on his green Kawasaki motorcycle when he collided with a 2003 red Honda Civic near the intersection of East St. Marks Place, police said.
The victim, who was not identified by police, was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead by hospital staff.
The 65-year-old female driver of the Honda Civic remained on scene, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
