A Hempstead man was arrested Wednesday and charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of a Queens man in June at a Uniondale house party, Nassau police said.

Raymond Wade, 20, of 40 Elmwood Ave. was charged with killing Jason Crafton, 27, of Hollis Avenue in St. Albans on June 13.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired shortly after midnight and discovered Crafton dead at Southern Pkwy., where a party was being held, police said.

Two other men were found there with nonlife-threatening gunshot wounds, police said, but detectives determined that they were wounded elsewhere and said then that the investigation was also continuing.

No additional information concerning the wounded men was released at that time, and no investigators were available Wednesday for any additional update.

Wade was to be arraigned Thursday in First District Court, Hempstead.

Correction: An earlier version of this story said Wade lived in West Hempstead.
