Nassau police are investigating an overnight burglary at a church in Roosevelt.

According to detectives, when the pastor of Church of God of Prophecy at 39 Mansfield Ave. arrived today to open for services, he found a variety of electronic music equipment had been stolen.

An audio mixer, amplifier, Yamaha keyboard, piano and monitor screen were missing, according the authorities, who put the value of the equipment at over $11,000.

Authorities say the burglary happened between 7:15 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. today.

Detectives are asking anybody with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous.
