Nassau cancels Wed mosquito spraying

Because of rain and thunderstorms moving through the area, Nassau County has canceled the mosquito control treatment scheduled for Wednesday in sections of Old Westbury, Garden City, Albertson, Westbury, Salisbury, Carle Place, Williston Park, Roslyn Heights, East Garden City, East Williston and Mineola.

The new date is Tuesday, July 24, starting at 7 p.m., according to a release from the Nassau County Department of Health.
