Nassau cop hurt responding to domestic incident, police say
A Nassau police officer sustained minor injuries while responding to a domestic incident Sunday night, a police spokeswoman said.
The officer was responding to a call in Manorhaven shortly before 5 p.m. when the injury occurred. Officials could not detail the nature of the injury, but said it was not a shooting.
Port Washington police assisted with the call, but an official there referred all questions to the Nassau Police Department.
